syntactic grammar discuss the structures of sentences, clauses, and phrases.

According to Ramlan (2001),
the syntax is a part or a branch of
linguistics that discuss the ins and outs of discourse, sentences, clauses, and
phrases; morphologically different from discussing the ins and outs word and
morpheme.
Harimurti Kridalaksana (1993)
defines the syntax as (i) setting and the relationship between words with
words, or with units greater, or between units greater that in the language.
(Ii) subsystem languages covering it (often considered part of grammatical;
the other part is that morphology); (Iii) the branch of linguistics that
studied it.
Hartmann and Stork (1976) states
that "syntax grammar is the branch of the which is concerned with the
study of the arrangement of words in sentences and of the means by the which
such relationships are shown, e.g. word order or Inflexion ". Syntactic
grammar is a branch of the study of the collection of words in sentences and
the tools with which the relationship as it is seen, for example, word order or
inflection.
Murt Kridalaksana (1993) Syntax
language is a subsystem that include words that are often considered part of
the grammar that is morphological and linguistic branch that studies of the
word.
Gleason (1955) "Syntax maybe
roughly defined as the principles of arrangement of the construction (word)
into large constructions of various kinds."
Miller (2002 : xii ) that revealed
that Syntax has to do with how words are put together to build phrases , with
how phrases are put together to build bigger clauses or phrases , and how
clauses are put together to build sentences . That definition explained that
the syntax is the science that is used to analyze a structure sentence.
Mc Manis , et al . (1998 : 153 )
reveals also that, Syntax is a science learn
the structure of sentences , clauses , and phrases that are composed of a
number of words.
